I have a tweed reissue blues deluxe.

I have read from several sources that it is possible to get different valves that do give a better sound.

Anyone here have heard of this or have experience??

Howzit and welcome to the forum....

You'll probably get the best advice from Matta here on the forum.

I have done a tube upgrade on a Hot Rod Deluxe where I replaced the stock Groove Tubes (Sovtek) wit JJ's.

This warmed the tone up a bit and took some of the edge off the overall tone.

It also depends on what you are not happy about with the current tone of the amp and where you want to take the tone to.

For Tweeds you're looking for great cleans, the JJ's might not be your ultimate tone bottles. Might gas for NOS JAN tubies, go look at the options and prices on www.tubesandmore.com or www.tubedepot.com
