Really didn't want to do this but made some bad choices lately. Sorry to hear about the circumstances.
Could you PM me the details on that Grant Les Paul? What pickups; body wood; bolt on or set-in neck; what adjustments you had to do to it; fret wear; anything that still needs fixing on it.
Also, what you would feel comfortable selling it for.
