Do ittttt! Kjaerhuis do a free suite of plugin's. I really dig the delay : http://www.vst4free.com/index.php?dev=Kjaerhus_Audio

Thanks for that Meron!

I think I should try and take part this month.

+ 100

I've had an acoustic song in my back pocket for some time, that sounds a little flat, I've been hoping some delay will spice it up a bit! Perfect opportunity!

Also sometimes delays can have feedback loops that are worth exploring too.

A pleasure Stud - possibly the best free suite I've come across, though I havn't been looking much in the last 6mths.

Awesome stuff!!!
I've started mucking around with some delay riffs and stuff... I don't just want to have the infinite dotted thirds thing like Ewan Dobson... It IS cool... but I want to try get a structured song going. So I've got the wrack my brain.

Just submitted my entry.
I always thought delays come naturally but it took some tweaking and experimentation. Learnt a lot and will definitely use delays in future competitions.
This will be my first recording incorporating delays.

Awesome to see entries coming in so far ahead of the deadline...I've been building pergolas and stuff. lol.
I've spent some time and have a basic idea and some riffs thrown together... now to structure that into a song!

Like me, are you still in composition stage or digging for inspiration?

Here's a useful overview of delay and common ways it's used : https://www.premierguitar.com/articles/How_to_Get_the_Most_Out_of_Your_Delay_Pedal

Managed to get something together and put my entry in this morning. Had some fun with both my old school homemade delay pedal and the tempo-synced delay in garageband.

So far we have Peter, Stoffeltoo and Bruceikins entering with one to come from the studly wonder  Cool.

Arrgghh, my interface has been appropriated by the band for tracking. It turns out that works that much better than any of their's...bassists are useful sometimes  Cheesy

Was hoping to get it back to get some recording done for this challenge, looks like I'll have to skin the cat in a slightly different fashion. Laptop microphone to the rescue!
