Gee Don and I thought you were going to set something difficult Shocked

I think I will do all three Al, Paco and John at the same time. Will only need one track Smiley

Keira will show you how...

I'm looking forward to this. I hope everyone has time. We do so much electric stuff I'd love to hear some acoustic elements.

Maybe Bob will grace us with a tune as well...

Hmm. I dub thee Sir Don-evil.

I might be able to do the rhythm parts later this week if I get some time. But then I'd have to find someone to do the shreddy bits over the top and go halvies on the prize money. Or enter in the beginners category. Cheesy

I recorded a bit last night.

I dont have an instrument  mic, so it will be up to the Takamine preamp and my Effects to get an acoustic sound.
But it's done.

I enjoyed doing this one Smiley

Not so well. Got a drum sequence, did the rythm bit, played a bassline - overdubbed (is that even a word?) the rythm bit about 20 times, and though it still sounds k@k, I think its the best I can do. Going away for the weekend so the shred bit will have to be done Sunday night. And thats going to be a bucket of fun, because the only shredding Ive ever done is carrots for a salad... Strangely enough, I am also enjoying it. Weird that.

I hope I get the time to do something this weekend. Can't promise anything on the shred bit.

Got my entry in - found some time on Sunday. Don't know about the shredding thing though. Kept it cool with the odd speedy run. Had great fun with this. The lekker part of composing these challenge things is that with a bit of added work we can include them in our band's repertoire.

Nope! And that's doing you a favour. Apart from not having the time or the equipment I don't have the chops. Just because I like the guitar and have opinions about guitars and guitarists doesn't mean that I can play a C major scale or (gasp!) a LICK.

I admire you guys who can actually compose and play an entry for one of these competitions.

Didnt manage to finish mine in time. Only got home past 8 last night and was too pooped to play. Sad Will finish it anyway when I get the chance and post it in the Clips for Review board when I'm done.
